Ernest Holmes defines illumination as, “Inspiration reaching a Cosmic state. A direct contact with Reality or God. A complete intuitive perception. It is the Self-Knowingness of God through man.” Certain behaviors and attitudes seem to make us happier. Some things that are important to us seem to help us be who we want to be. Some ways that we describe ourselves and others seem to be directly related to our sense of sell esteem.
